Terms of Use of the fortuna-vstup.cz Website

The rules on this page apply to the relationship between the operator and the visitors of fortuna-vstup.cz. The operator can be contacted via [email protected].

Terms used here:

• user: a visitor to the website, whether a natural or legal person, including anyone who uses its content other than by reading it;
• website: the pages running at fortuna-vstup.cz, an independent informational project with affiliate links, dedicated to the Fortuna brand;
• affiliate link: a click-through to the pages of a gambling operator or its business partner, for which the website operator may be paid a commission.

Who runs the games: gambling under the Fortuna brand is operated by FORTUNA GAME a.s., IČO 43003575, Italská 2584/69, 120 00 Praha 2, which holds a licence from the Czech Ministry of Finance. This can be checked in the list of licensed operators kept by the Ministry of Finance (MF ČR). Only this company sets the binding terms and rules.

What the website does: fortuna-vstup.cz independently brings together overviews, reviews and news about online gambling, mainly concerning the Fortuna brand. The content is purely informational.

What the website does not do: its operator is not a gambling operator under Act No. 186/2016 Coll., on Gambling, as amended. You therefore cannot open a player account, deposit money or play here, and no identity verification takes place on the website.

The Fortuna trademarks that appear on the website do not belong to the website operator but to their owner. The operator has no rights to them and uses them only to describe, that is, to name the brand and the products it writes about; no relationship with the trademark owner arises from this. The website's own content is a different matter. Its texts, graphics, structure, databases and source code are protected by zákon č. 121/2000 Sb., the Czech Copyright Act, in its current wording. Using them beyond personal use, in particular distributing, copying or modifying them, is only possible with the operator's prior written consent.

Nor is it responsible for the content and availability of other third-party pages linked from the website, or for any harm or loss arising from the use of information or services of third parties.

The website operator puts reasonable effort into keeping its own content correct and current. It cannot, however, ensure that all details will always be up to date, complete and free of errors. The content is informational and does not amount to legal, financial, tax or other professional advice. Before any decision, the user must therefore verify the information in official sources, primarily directly with the gambling operator.

This website writes about gambling, which is governed by zákon č. 186/2016 Sb. The information is therefore intended only for persons over 18 years of age, and the user confirms that this applies to them. Anyone younger than 18 is barred from it.

Disputes connected with the use of the website fall within the jurisdiction of the general court of the website operator in the Czech Republic. The governing law is the law of the Czech Republic, in particular the Civil Code and other applicable regulations.

Consumers may also use out-of-court resolution through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ČOI), Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2 (adr.coi.cz). The former EU ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) is no longer an option, because the European Commission has discontinued it.

The website operator may unilaterally amend or supplement these terms at any time. Each new version takes effect at the moment it is published on the website.

The user has a duty to follow the current wording of the terms on an ongoing basis. If the user keeps using the website after a change, this expresses agreement with the new wording.
